Deadlines for Submitting Documents for Publication

Effective January 1, 2009, the deadline for agencies, boards, commissions, and public charter schools to submit documents for the DC Register is Tuesday at 12pm of the same week. The DC Council must submit documents by Wednesday at 12pm of the same week.

For example, Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances (ODAI) published a notice in the Friday, January 9th edition of the DC Register that was submitted by an agency by noon on Tuesday, January 6th.

Exceptions
If an official District government holiday falls on a Monday or a Friday, the deadline for receiving documents remains the same as outlined above. However, if an official District government holiday falls on a Tuesday, a Wednesday or a Thursday, the deadline for ODAI to receive documents changes. For agencies, boards, commissions, and public charter schools, the deadline is by Monday at 12 pm of the same week; and for the DC Council, the deadline by Tuesday at 12 pm of the same week.
